Member of Hilldale Student Body Passes

On Wednesday, October 15, we lost a precious part of our Hilldale Family. Jordan Johnson was the son of Temicah Johnson and Michael Johnson. Jordan, a first grader, had a life-long struggle with kidney disease. Through the many procedures over the years, Jordan shared an endless smile and a magnetic personality. Jordan passed away following complications from a kidney transplant. Students and staff joined Jordan's family for a special memorial at the Hilldale Elementary playground. Green is the color used in the fight against kidney disease. On Friday, November 7, at 10:30 am, hundreds of green balloons were released, along with sweet thoughts and reminders of Jordan. We thank the Johnson family for sharing this special little boy with us! We grieve with them and will continue to support them. Please keep our school family in your thoughts and prayers!
