Late Arrival Days
SCHEDULE CHANGE FOR 2015-16
Beginning August 26, we will be implementing a different schedule on each Wednesday of the school year. School will start 30 minutes later at each site only on Wednesday. Buses will run 30 minutes later than on the other days of the week and student drop-off times will be 30 minutes later on Wednesday. Dismissal time is unchanged.

In an effort to identify needs in our curriculum and to support the needs of each student, this allows 40 minutes each week for our staff to work together, analyze information on our assessments and curriculum, and plan for interventions. This is a common structure to increase the knowledge of each student based on individual and district information with the people who are the experts in education – the certified staff!
We realize that this will be welcomed by some families and more difficult for others. Please know that as we all ask teachers and staff to increase their students’ learning, we must provide them with the resources to do that. In this case, it is a shared time in a very structured setting to find ways to improve student learning, looking at the data for each and all students. Please bear with us as we all adjust to this change. We appreciate your patience.
