Computer Students Participate in Hour of Code
Students in Mrs. Neal's and Coach Stevens' middle school computer classes participated in Hour of Code, a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries. Students went to code.org and selected a tutorial to help them learn the basics of programming. Students chose from tutorials based on Minecraft, Star Wars, Frozen, Angry Birds, Flappy Bird, and Disney Infinity.
The goal of Hour of Code is to introduce as many students to programming as possible. Programming is a growing field and more skilled programmers are needed.
