Superintendent's Student Advisory Council Visits Capitol
The Superintendent's Student Advisory Council includes students in grades 9-12. The Council meets several times each year to discuss issues related to our school. Over the last few months, the students have been questioning what can be done about current issues with education. Dr. Coody decided they should learn how the legislature works. The best way to learn? Visit the Capitol! None of the students on the council had ever been to the Capitol. Each student developed their own questions to ask. Dr. Coody, Coach Eric Stout, and the students met with Senator Roger Thompson, Superintendent Hofmeister, Representative Jerry McPeak, and Representative George Faught.
