The Hilldale Elementary School Spelling Bee was held on Thursday, January 25. Students from the fourth and fifth grades participated. This year's winner is fifth grader Mattie Pittman from Mrs. Nixon's homeroom. The runner-up was fourth grader Ever Ellis from Ms. Brinkley's homeroom. Both students will attend the regional spelling bee on Friday, April 6 at the Muskogee Civic Center.
