District Teacher of the Year Selected

Mrs. Jayme Nixon, 5th grade teacher at Hilldale Upper Elementary, was selected as the 2018-2019 Hilldale District Teacher of the Year.

The District Teacher of the Year is chosen from the Site Teachers of the Year. Each teacher submits a packet to be reviewed and scored by a selection committee. Teachers must submit a resume; letters of recommendation from their site principal, 2 colleagues, a student, and a parent; and their responses to 3 questions related to teaching.
