Mrs. Chris DeLay applied for a grant with the Hilldale Education Foundation to purchase Cool Cubes for her classroom. The grant was funded! The students really enjoy using the cool cubes and it helps them respond in real time. The students pictured are using the cool cubes to practice verb conjugation in Spanish II.

Come support your Hilldale Hornets! The All School Pep Rally will be tonight, August 29, starting at 6:30 p.m. Football players and cheerleaders from 1st grade through high school will be introduced. Hilldale Elementary PTO will be selling spirit wear. Varsity Cheer will also be selling spirit wear. Pulled pork and hot dogs will also be available.
TTCU started a campaign to support Oklahoma schools. TTCU made a $1 million challenge pledge to help public schools within the areas served by their branches. The goal is to raise $4 million for Tulsa area school districts. Because of this campaign, TTCU was able to present Hilldale Public Schools with a check for over $10,000!

The Hilldale Education Foundation is a relatively new organization. Part of the purpose of HEF is to help fund education in the Hilldale district. One way the foundation helps is through teacher grants. The first year, HEF awarded $2200 to 6 recipients. The second year, HEF awarded $6200 to 14 recipients.
