IF you have symptoms please stay home - If your child is showing symptoms of COVID, fever, loss of smell or taste, fatigue, shortness of breath, diarrhea, vomiting, please stay at home until symptom free for 24 hours without medicine. If your child is tested for COVID-19, please keep them at home until you get a negative test result and they are symptom free for 24 hours.
Senior Panel Pictures - Seniors can come up on October 12 to take panel pictures from 10am to 2pm at the High School, please contact Mr. Nixon if you have questions. jnixon@hilldaleps.org
Virtual days – We begin to end our virtual Mondays next week. We will be in school all week next week. We will have virtual days October 12 and 13, the Monday and Tuesday of fall break the following week. After fall break we will have one virtual day at home on November 9th.
Virtual Parents - You need to login to your student(s) account and make sure they are completing assignments. Also, just because an assignment is complete doesn’t mean the assignment is a 100% or an “A”, answers must be correct. You can access your student(s) grades on parent portal or your child’s login
Lunch on Virtual days –we have been notified that the USDA has issued guidance that all students will be allowed to eat for free until December 31, 2020. We will provide lunch and breakfast pick-up and delivery on each Monday. Pick-up will take place at our elementary school from 9:00 to 10:00 each virtual day. Delivery will start at 9:30. Extra-Curricular Events – We encourage anyone who attends a Hilldale athletic event to wear a mask and socially distance.
Expect change – As you all know, every day is a new day in our world right now. We will work to make changes as smooth as possible with as much notice as possible. I would ask that you make plans in case in-person school has to move to distance learning off campus. Please have a plan for daycare for your children, as we could have to close a classroom, school site, or the entire district with little notice. We will prepare daily with students for this scenario, so that they will as prepared as possible if we have to send them home.
