November 10 Update

November 10, 2020

Distance Learning for grades PK-12 - November 10, 2020, and will return to in-person learning on Monday, November 30, 2020. All teachers and instructional support staff will report to school during Distance Learning. Students should have their devices and chargers with them as today was a virtual day. If you have questions, please contact your building principal.

.

As positive cases increase, there are several things that we feel could help when we return to in-person learning.

  1. If you or an immediate family member suspects that you may have COVID-19 or are having symptoms, STAY HOME. Please DO NOT participate in any school activities.
  2. If your student or an immediate family member have tested and are waiting on the results, please DO NOT send your child to school.

Lunch and breakfast until November 30 – We will have drive through pick-up for meals starting tomorrow, November 11th, at Hilldale Elementary from 10:30-12:30, as we did last spring.  We will deliver meals on Monday November 16.  If you need meals delivered please contact, dbarber@hilldaleps.org – 918-683-0273 ex. 423.

Seniors - Please stay in contact with our school counselors at the high school on scholarships and post high school opportunities.  Graduation will be here before you know it.  Contact our high school counselors for help.

Concurrent Enrollment - Juniors and Senior interested in concurrent enrollment next semester need to contact our high school counselors ASAP.

Reading Test for Drivers License - Contact our high school counselor to see when the next reading test will be given if you need to pass the reading test to get your drivers license.

Expect change – We will work to make changes as smooth as possible with as much notice as possible.  I would ask that you make plans in case in-person school has to move to distance learning off campus.  Please have a plan for daycare for your children, as we could have to close a classroom, school site, or the entire district with little notice.  We will prepare daily with students for this scenario, so that they will as prepared as possible if we have to send them home.

Thank you for your continued support
