I hope this email finds you well. My name is Andra Pinkston, and I am a board member of the Ragland Family Education Foundation. I would like to provide you information about the Ragland Family Foundation STEM scholarship and ask you to please consider sharing our scholarship information with your qualified students. We are a local Oklahoma based scholarship that has had the pleasure of awarding scholarships to 10 deserving students in Southeast Oklahoma since 2018. Our founder, Tom Ragland, grew up in Hartshorne, Oklahoma, and over the course of his lifetime, realized the value of his college education and the sacrifice his parents made to provide that education to him. As noted in the attached letter from him, he now has a desire to give back to students who would otherwise find it difficult to finance a college degree.
Our scholarship is specifically focused on students who want to pursue a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM). Renewable for up to 4 semesters, students who are awarded our scholarship will have the opportunity to receive up to $20,000 in scholarship grants.
Our online application submission deadline is March 15, 2021. We invite you to learn more about our scholarship at www.raglandfamilyfoundation.com. Please feel free to forward this email and the attached brochure to the qualified students at your school. If you have online posting boards where you distribute scholarship information to your students, we would greatly appreciate you adding our scholarship to your list.
