NEO Honors Program

The Honors Program at NEO A&M College is now accepting applications for the fall 2021 semester. Our program continues to grow every semester and we look forward to welcoming your students next fall! We need your help in spreading the word about the program. The NEO Honors Program has two levels of membership: full membership as an Honors Scholar and provisional membership. The qualifications for each membership level are listed below:
For full admission into the Honors Program at NEO as an Honors Scholar, students must meet TWO of the following requirements:
- Composite ACT score of 24 or above
- GPA of 3.5 or higher from accredited high school if student is a first-time freshman
- Ranking in top 10% of high school graduating class
- GPA of 3.5 or higher on minimum 12 earned credit hours at a regionally accredited college
For provisional admission, students must meet ONE of the following requirements:
- Composite ACT score of 24 or higher
- GPA of 3.5 or higher from accredited high school if student is a first-time freshman
- Ranking in top 10% of high school graduating class
- GPA of 3.5 or higher on minimum 12 earned credit hours at a regionally accredited college
*After admission on provisional basis, eligible students must complete two NEO Honors courses with grades no lower than a B to be eligible for full membership into the program.

I am also excited to share that we will be traveling to Italy and Greece next spring for our first Study Abroad program!
We will be awarding three, $2,000.00 stipends to freshmen who will start at NEO in the fall of 2021. These stipends will be awarded for students to use toward the program, Intercultural Studies in Italy & Greece, which will take place in May 2022.
