First Day of School – Parents can walk students into the building on the first two days of school, August 19 and 20. Starting Monday, August 23, parents will remain in their vehicles and drop students off. Our staff will be at all drop off locations, like last year, to help students into the building and to their teacher.

No Deliveries - We will follow our same process for deliveries as last year.

COVID – Please read our Return to Learn Plan that is attached.

Wearing a mask and asking if you are vaccinated cannot be required but recommended for students or staff. Oklahoma Senate Bill 658
COVID Quarantine:

For vaccinated individuals:

If they test positive regardless if they are symptomatic or asymptomatic, they are to follow current guidelines of the 10 day isolation from either first date of symptom onset or date of test collection and result of positive.
As of August 2, 2021, vaccinated individuals who have been exposed do not have to quarantine per current guidance, but should monitor for symptoms and consider getting tested. If they, for whatever the reason, decide to get tested and come out positive, even if asymptomatic, we would treat as a positive case.

For unvaccinated individuals:

Anyone who is unvaccinated (meaning not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated) it is recommended that they quarantine, if it is determined they have been in close contact with individuals who have tested positive, regardless of vaccination status of the positive case.

This general guidance considers exposure to positive cases regardless if asymptomatic or symptomatic.

Enrollment – All students, current and new, need to enroll for next school year. Enrollment is done online and please contact: jjohnson@hilldaleps.org for assistance. Students will not receive a schedule or teacher assigned for Elementary Meet and Greet until enrolled. Elementary teachers should contact parents by the end of the day Thursday, August 12. If you did not get a call please contact our elementary office on Friday, August 13.

Breakfast and Lunch - All students will eat free for breakfast and lunch again this year. We still need free and reduced lunch applications completed on enrollment as we receive federal and state funds based on those numbers.
