Message from the Principal

Thank you for visiting Hilldale Middle School. Students, teachers, parents, and friends have made HMS a great place to be! Our goal at HMS is to meet high expectations by challenging and engaging students with rigorous curriculum and by encouraging independent thinking.

The philosophy of HMS establishes a priority of concerns which permeate the operation of the school and provide the basis for educational decision making. Our school shows evidence that there is consistency between the philosophy and procedures and strategies of instruction employed in the classroom. Research shows that students who have parental involvement in their child's education outperform their peers far and above those who do not. We encourage you to be an active participant in the education of your child.
