David F. Smith is director of choirs for Hilldale Public Schools grades 6-12. Currently Mr. Smith holds a B.A. in Music Education from Northeastern State University.  Mr. Smith has a Master's Degree in Theological Studies from Liberty University. Mr. Smith is a veteran teacher of over 30 years. He has been Director of Choirs for Hilldale since 2002, He is the former assistant director for Muskogee High School. Mr. Smith is a published composer with Carl Fischer/BriLee Music and Pavane Publishing with his music performed all over the world. He is also the author of 6 books. The Hilldale program has enjoyed a winning streak at district and state competitions, as well as national competition. Mr. Smith is also Pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church of Muskogee.. He is married to Shelley, a violinist with the Oklahoma Baptist Symphony and composer and has two boys and two grandchildren
