I believe first grade is an important year where students build the basics of reading, writing, math, and how to work with others. My goal is to create a classroom where students feel safe, cared for, and excited to learn. I want every child to know that they matter and that their ideas are important.

I use hands-on activities, movement, and play when possible, to help students learn in a fun and meaningful way. I understand that all students are different, so I work hard to meet them at their level and help them grow at their own pace. I also teach important social and emotional skills like kindness, patience, and working together.

I believe learning should be joyful, and that children learn best when they feel supported and encouraged. My classroom is a place where mistakes are okay and where we celebrate effort and progress. I also believe in building strong relationships with families and working as a team to support each child.

My goal is to help students love learning, believe in themselves, and feel proud of who they are.
