I have parents that ask me what books their child can read, or how to get their child to want to read. The best advice that I can give, is involve your child in picking out some books. Make it fun for them. Let them find books that are about topics they like, while still being on their level, or even a little lower. This will build confidence in their reading, as well as improve fluency and comprehension.
