The purpose and goal of this scholarship is to honor Mrs. Theresa Rahmani, a loving mother and wife who always showed her unwavering support of her husband, an educator, Sam Rahmani. We seek to provide the Theresa Rider Rahmani scholarship for the purpose of providing a monetary award to a graduating Hilldale High School senior who fulfills the scholarship requirements.
Students will apply and a panel of teachers/counselors/administrators will then come to consensus on the final student selected. There will be approximately five people on the panel. The selection will meet the last week of April annually. 2023 DEADLINE IS 4/21/2023!!
This is a non-renewable scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00.
Scholarship requirements include the following:
1. Must be on track to graduate and have at least 3.0 unweighted GPA.
2. Must be enrolled in a trade school, community college, or four year university by June 1.
3. Must provide an official letter of acceptance to a college or university.
4. Must have a completed FAFSA application which demonstrates financial need.
Once a student is selected, money can be requested prior to the semester starting and will be sent directly to the institution on behalf of the student.
