Confirmed Case of COVID-19, 10/2/20

High School Distance Learning 10/5-10/6

NOTICE:  Confirmed case of COVID-19 in our school – High School distance learning Monday, October 5 and Tuesday, October 6 for cleaning.

Dear Parents, Faculty, and Community Members.

Today we received notification that a student or staff member at Hilldale High School has tested positive for COVID-19.  The student, faculty, or staff that were in close contact with that individual have been notified and mandated to quarantine at home for 14 days from the last date of exposure.

We have had positive test results each school day this week at the high school.  Therefore, we will be distance learning on Monday, October 5th, and Tuesday, October 6th at the high school to clean and disinfect the building.  Students will come home with their chrome book and hot spot today.

Middle School and Elementary School will be in person on Monday and Tuesday next week.

If you have not received a phone call today from the school, your child has not been identified as being in close contact with the positive individual, however, we believe one of our greatest responsibilities is to communicate transparently with you and the community.  We are following CDC guidelines and protocols set by the State Department of Health.  Additionally, in our RE-Opening Plan, the district implemented on the first day of school policies and procedures to decrease potential spread between classes.
