May 9 Superintendent Update

Last Day of School
Wednesday, May 18 will remain our last day of school for this school year.

 

Summer School
Summer school will be for CURRENT grades Pk-5 from Monday, May 23 until Thursday, June 9 from 8:30 to 11:30. Classes will be held Monday–Thursday (no Friday classes), no class on Memorial Day. 

 

Open Transfers

1. IF YOUR STUDENT(S) CURRENTLY ATTEND(S) HILLDALE ON AN OPEN TRANSFER AND FINISH THE SCHOOL YEAR IN GOOD STANDING, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO APPLY.  Your child(ren) will be grandfathered in.  **Reminder** Transfers can always be denied due to attendance and discipline reasons.  
2. The transfer law was changed by our state legislature last year and there is now a hard capacity that Hilldale is required to set. 
3. Decisions on Open Transfers will not be made until July.  You will be notified about your acceptance or denial.  IF you are denied you can be placed on a waiting list for possible open positions when school begins in August.   

 

Pre-K and KG round-up
May 10^th from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and 12:30 to 3:00 pm. in the administrative offices next to Hilldale Elementary School.  Please bring with you birth certificate, proof of residence, shot records, and CDIB/citizenship card.    

 

Pre-Enrollment for Current Students
Current students need to pre-enroll NOW.  Pre-Enrollment is online through each student's parent portal.  Students must be pre-enrolled before they will be assigned classes or teachers for the 2022-2023 school year.  If you need access to your parent portal please contact your site (elementary, middle or high school office) and they will give you your login and password.  If you need assistance through the pre-enrollment process please reach out to our administrative office, 918-683-0273.

May 13	High School Awards Assembly Elementary Track Day - Teachers will be sending home a schedule of times.
May 16	High School Graduation Practice - 9:00 a.m. Middle School Graduation - 5:00 p.m. High School Graduation - 7:00 p.m.
May 17	Inclement Weather Day for Graduation Early Release (1:30 pm for HS/MS & 1:50 pm for Elementary-NO LATCHKEY)
May 18	Early Release (1:30 pm for HS/MS & 1:50 pm for Elementary-NO LATCHKEY)
