Did you know Oklahoma's Promise eligible students can apply to OU for FREE? If your student is admitted to OU, Oklahoma's Promise will cover their tuition, and OU guarantees up to $8,000 in average student fees through Crimson Commitment. ​Here's how your Oklahoma's Promise students can apply to OU for free using each application type: 

NOTE: Please choose only one of the following application options below to apply to OU. Continue using that same application throughout the entire process.

Option 1: Apply through the OU Application

Create, complete, and submit your application. If you're eligible for Oklahoma's Promise, our OU application will automatically waive your fee when you click "submit." This means you can submit your application without paying the application fee.
 

Option 2: Apply through the Common Application

1. Create and complete your application.
2. On the OU Member page in the “General” section, select “University of Oklahoma Alumni Fee Waiver” related to the school-specific fee waiver question.
3. Type Oklahoma's Promise in both boxes.
4. Finalize and submit your application.

Option 3: Apply through the Coalition Application

1. Create and complete your application.
2. In the OU section titled “Supplemental Information,” select “Yes” for an alumni application fee waiver code.
3. Type Oklahoma's Promise in both boxes.
4. Finalize and submit your application.
